There was an owner whose name was Snowheart. Of course, for parents and teachers, Snowheart was not her real name. They call her Elsa. The Elsa from Frozen.
She has two extremely cheeky turtles.
The first one is called Lazyshy.
The second, smaller one is Crazythorn.
It’s always driving her crazy. This small turtle has three sharp and pointy spikes on his back.
It was 12:00 at the middle of midnight one evening when the two turtles drifted asleep at last. They were dreaming in the same dream. They were so greedy that they started to fight to get more food from the other.
First of all, Crazythorn was a good swimmer. His pads were fascinating. They each looked like a duck’s foot. It was always difficult to see where he was because he swamims like a dolphin. He swam around Lazyshy like a lightning bolt. Lazyshy felt dizzy but muttered: “I need a stone, a humongous stone. Come on! Where is it?” Suddenly he spotted one. He stretched out his tiny paws. Unluckily, Crazythorn didn’t trip. Lazyshy reached the stone and hit his companion right onit at the moving thorns.
CRASH! SPLASH!
Crazythorn was finally stuck.
“Uh-oh,” thought Crazythorn.
The stone was widish with a sword on top. He felt a surge of panic. If he managed to wriggle away from the stone. The sword would be still on his back. The stone felt like a poisonous stone. Cautiously, Lazyshy grabbed the sword and lifted the stone. Crazythorn was to do the same thing when he felt something heavy zig zagging across his back.
“Oh dear,” Crazythorn murmured to himself.
“Why am I always so stupid?”
The vicious-looking Lazyshy was on top of him with the sword zig zagging across his shell. He tried to shake Lazyshy off but he couldn’t. He began to sob. He’ll never get to eat the yummy, juicy food or maybe even die. Lazyshy was a good balancer.
When he was about to say that he would give up on the challenge, the feeling stopped. Lazyshy jumped down and the sword vanished.
“How did you feel when you were on my back？” whispered Crazythorn. “You were a wobbly tightrope,” Lazyshy admitted.
“You won so you eat it,” Crazythorn urged.
“No, let’s share.”
Crazythorn was too shocked to say anything.
“Are you sure?” Crazythorn double-checked. If he hadn’t asked that he might have a battle again because he might have heard it wrong.
“Yes, I’m fine.”
“Ok,” Crazythorn accepted happily.
And they ate merrily ever after.
PLUCK!
“AHHHHHHH……Emergency, emergency. There’s a poop trail leading to Lazyshy who is still fast asleep.”
