As college students, we will step into the society, and now we need to prepare for our future and arrange for our future career life, we need to take into consideration what to do in the future. my ideal job is to be a teacher. This three reasons support my idea.

First, I think to be a teacher is very interesting for me. I like to play with children and stay with them because of their innocence and purity, whats more, childrens enthusiasm affect me and make me happy. Since I was young, I always played as a teacher, and taught my little sister their lessons. If I can be a teacher, I can stay with them all days and realize my dream. Therefore, to be a teacher is my personal favourite job.

Second, I admire this job. To be a teacher is a holy job. Teachers spend their whole life on spreading their knowledge and morality to students. Teachers waste their youth to make contribution to our nation. Teachers cultivate some great person who make beneficial to the society. For example, Confucius was a great teacher in our country, and his achievement is so great that no one can surpass him.

Third, I think to be a teacher depends on my character. I am outgoing and I have a strong responsibility. I like to communicate with others about books or something else. I used to tutor my classmates about our book theory, and I used to find some part—time jobs like tutor. my students said that I was a responsible teacher.

In conclusion, to be a teacher is my dream and I will try my best to make it come true.

When my teacher asks me what do I want to be in the future, I have nothing to tell her, because I don’t know what I want to do. But when I see a good movie about a teacher, I know the answer, my dream job is to be a teacher. Just like my dear teacher, she inspires me all the time and gives me the courage to move on.

The first job is of great importance for a person, because it frequently decides one’s future career. Most parents want their children to work for the government, while the young people trend to start business on their own. Both options have advantages and disadvantages.

Working for the government seems to be permanent and stable. So many graduates choose to take part in the national exam, for the purpose of being a public servant. But it is the stability that makes the young people feel bored and like wasting their time on the repeating work.

As the government advocates the young generation to self-employed, many graduates join the team. They want to develop their talent and follow their hearts. And it takes a long time for them to get great return. When they see their fellows buy house and cars, they will be easy to feel frustrated. Starting business is not always a simple thing.

In my opinion, the career we choose must be passionate. We need to do it for more than 30 years, so the interest comes first, or we will be like a walking dead.

A recent survey shows that some people prefer the higher-paying job even though it requests a longer hours than those low-paying job, especially among the young. They consider that they should spare no effort to earn money and improve their life standard when they are still young.

However, others hold diverse view that they would rather choose lower-paying jobs and earn less money than do longer hours jobs. What they consider is that they should accompany their family and friends as much as possible even though they are busy. Moreover, they think they need to enjoy their lives while they are making their living, in that life is limited and money is not everything.

If I had a chance to choose my job, I would be inclined to choose the latter one. In my opinion, many things are more important than money even though money can solve many problems, such as our family, affection and friendship. In addition, we also need to take our personal preference and conditions into consideration when choosing jobs. Only in this way can we real enjoy our jobs.

Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when he starts hiscareer. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in the big cities. To them, staying in big cities means more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation.

But some other graduates want to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier.

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

In conclusion, making a career plan depends on one’s value in life and work. No matter which choice one choose, hopefully everyone will have a bright future.

As a result of the double agenda pertaining to the emancipation of women, their participation in production, made visible in posters, was seen as one of the basic keys to bring about their liberation. Although posters of women working as welders or in other industrial activities do appear in the first one and a half decade of PRC-posters, most of their activities in this period remain located in agriculture.

Their work in this sector ranged from working in the fields to raising livestock. During the campaigns where the setting up of sideline occupations was stressed, women in particular played an important role. The pervading message in these campaigns seemed to be that women still had plenty of time and energy left to engage in sideline activities after they had returned from spending a long day of backbreaking work in the fields.By the late 1950s, when the policies designed to mechanize agriculture actually resulted in more mechanized equipment becoming available in the rural areas, the tractor was gradually introduced in posters. More often that not, posters showed how this piece of modern heavy-duty equipment was operated by a woman. The propaganda intention of the posters featuring these tractor girls seemed to be two-fold: it illustrated both the increases in the availability of farm machinery (and the successes of the Party in making all this possible) and the ability of women to actually operate these machines. In reality, however, the tractor operator usually was a man.

By the time of the Cultural Revolution, this trend of showing women taking on types of work generally associated with men was continued. In particular during the time when the movement to learn from the agricultural model commune of Dazhai was at its peak in the 1960s and 1970s, the muscular and energetic female team members, “imitation boys” (jia xiaozi) or “iron women” (tie nüren) working under commune leader Chen Yonggui, played an enormously influential function as role models for women. Iron girls inspired women to take on the most difficult and demanding tasks.Generally speaking, then, women were confined to agriculture. Women in the forefront of industrial production only became a poster theme from the Great Leap Forward onwards. The trend was continued in Cultural Revolution posters, when women increasingly were represented while at work in factories. This was not necessarily limited to the textile industries, which were traditionally seen as typical places where women ought to work.

Although not explicitly visible in propaganda posters, female members of the urban work force were employed along unstated gender lines. Men usually were given technical jobs, and women were assigned non-technical, auxiliary and service jobs, regardless of their educational level. While women who in preceding decades often were depicted while engaging in typically masculine pursuits, strong pressure was exerted on them in the 1980s to return to their traditional, more ‘feminine‘ roles of servants/waitresses, mothers and child-rearers. Paralleling the changes in thinking among the leadership, the need was no longer felt in official art to urge women to break through the traditional assumptions of gender inferiority.

Instead of going out to work, they were exhorted more and more often to return to the stove and engage in home making. Such exhortations were voiced with renewed vigor in the late 1990s, when female workers who had been made redundant by the ever larger number of bankrupt State-owned industries were called upon to take on the responsibility for the domestic side of family life. A number of women on maternity leave even saw their legally granted period of absence extended indefinitely. On the other hand, the large numbers of women migrating from rural areas looking for employment in industry, the so-called ‘working girls‘ (dagongmei), constitute a relatively cheap female labor force that is exploited relentlessly in the name of economic development.

One of the most important problems a young person faces is deciding what to do. There are some people, of course, who from the time they are six years old know that they want to be doctors or pilots or fire fighters, but the majority of us do not get around to making a decision about an occupation or career until somebody or something forces us to face the problem.

Choosing an occupation takes time, and there are a lot of things you have to think about as you try to decide what you would like to do. You may find that you will have to take special courses to qualify for a particular kind of work, or you may find out that you will need to get actual work experience to gain enough knowledge to qualify for a particular .

Fortunately, there are a lot of people you can turn to for advice and help in making your decision. At most schools, there are teachers who are professionally qualified to give you detailed information about job qualifications. And you can talk over your ideas with family members and friends who are always ready to listen and to offer suggestions.

it is very important to choose a right career. a right choice usually leads to success and happiness, while a wrong one often brings about failure and disappointment. therefore, we must get ourselves well prepared so that a right choice can be made when needed.

if i am to choose a career, my principles are as follows. first of all, it should be a real service to my fellowmen and not merely enable me to earn a living. seondly, it should offer scope for creativity and imagination because i want to live a rich or meaningful life. finally, it should provide me with opportunities and challenges, engaging my in terest and allowing me to develop my abilities.

there are many professions for me to choose from: teaching, newspaper work, research on social science and so on. among them, the work of a reporter may suit me most, because it is an eciting job and is full of challenges.

They are having a rich life and indulging their last few years in school. They can be easily spotted as they are hurrying on their way to library with books in their arms, organizing an arts festival with other Students’ Union members, or even goggling in their dormitories. As they will be bread-winners in a few years, what do they think of their career?

With no doubt,, they have made some preparations for their career. Concerning about future career plan, they can be divided into 2 groups. The first group decides to work immediately after graduation. In this case, they do not expect high payment at first, 2000 to 3000 is appropriate. They tend to accumulate as much experience as they can, while the other group prefers to go on further education. They believe “Knowledge is power” and further education is a good way to enrich their knowledge. Certainly they expect higher salary than the former group, maybe around 4000 at first. But there is uncertainty that there maybe fiercer competition as they hunt for jobs later.

There shows combined opinions on the importance of quality and experience. Some think experience can only be amounted on the basis of quality, but rich experiences can never parallel with strong ability. However, the opposition against this says rich experiences can give one a hand in quickly adapting to new environment. Meanwhile, experiences can also enhance one’s ability. Still another side considers both of equal importance.

Despite the differences, they still have a lot in common. Both groups realize the extreme imbalance between job supply and demand. With many people fighting tooth and nail to get just a few posts, the job market is already tough. The situation becomes worse with more and more college graduates nowadays. One must has certain advantage over others to win the competition. They have more or less the same ideas when choosing a job as well. Most say they will jump at the chance of working in a post with great prospects, with interest and salary rank second and third. But even if they are recruited, they know there are various difficulties ahead. Economically speaking, at the beginning the work is not stable and receive low payment. Psychologically, it takes some time to adjust to a new environment, especially if the jobs are irrelevant to their majors. Moreover, it will be a great challenge for them to handle complicated interpersonal relationships properly. Conflicts of different values between colleagues, the right attitude towards future bosses are the most concerned hurdles. Personal problems also come into play. Lack of experience and creativity are considered huge shortcomings. Meanwhile, they are also worried their abilities can’t meet their high expectations.

Although job-hunting will be a harsh lesson for the college students to learn, they still keep a positive attitude: work hard, play hard and study hard. The harsh reality is in some way a blessing in disguise. It gives these young people motivation to learn as much as they can, for eventually the best of best will win a bright future.

As is known to all, many famous people have high IQ such as Albert Einstein, a thinking machine, who was considered as the greatest scientist of the 20th century. Does high IQ play an important part in one’s career? The answer is yes. However, with the development of our society, more and more studies show that EQ counts more than IQ in career.

believe it or not, there are several reasons. In the beginning, IQ means cleverness and intelligence, and EQ stands for an ability of judging, dealing, adapting and so on. Furthermore, IQ represents rational while EQ is in the name of emotional. The latter one helps you get well along with other people by a positive way, which is more significant to your success. At last, high IQ just gets more knowledge and skills, but high EQ gains people’s respect, understanding and support.

In a word, EQ counts more than IQ in career. Please remember to improve your EQ if you are high in IQ.

as is apparently betrayed in the bar chart above, at present, workers in some fields and sections of our society are overworking themselves, among whom the self-employed individuals and scientific researchers top the list. the very fact revealed in the chart should arouse the social concern.

the implied meaning of the bar chart above can be briefly stated as follows. in the first place, to overwork every day has become a common phenomenon in most working units. the national laws and regulations concerning eight-hour working limit are often disobeyed by most employers, which transgresses workers’ deserved rights. in the second place, to overwork constantly does harm to people’s health and psychology. over the past years, many intellectuals and artists including gao xue-ming and fu biao die young due to heavy workload and the resulting stress. last but not least important, frequent extra work disturbs people’s normal life. every day people are fully occupied with their work so that they do not have time to care their family life and to communicate with their friends and relatives. as a result, they become a working machine. on the whole, overworking does bring us some disadvantages, which should not be neglected.

in my view, counter-measures should be immediately taken to reverse the current grim situation. to begin with, more strict laws and regulations should be set up to protect workers’ rights. what’s more, a public education campaign should be launched to make people understand the relationship between work and health and that between work and normal life. only in this way can we build up a harmonious society.

Our current educational system focuses on preparing todays youth to get good jobs by de-

veloping scholastic skills。 Their lives will revolve around their wages, or their income column。 And after developing scholastic skills, they go on to higher levels of schooling to enhance their professional abilities。 They study to become engineers, scientists, cooks, police officers, artists, writers and so on。 These professional skills allow them to enter the workforce and work for money。

There is a big difference between your profession and your business。 Often I ask people, "What is your business?"And they will say。 "Oh Im a banker。" Then I ask them if they own the bank? And they usually respond。 "No。 I work there"

In that instance, they have confused their profession with their business。 Their profession may be a banker, but they still need their own business。 A problem with school is that you often become what you study。 So if you study, say, cooking, you become a chef。 If you study the law, you become an

attorney, and a study of auto mechanics makes you a mechanic。 The mistake in becoming what you study is that too many people forget to mind their own business。 They spend their lives minding someone elses business and XXX that person rich。

As a result of constant media attention, sports professionals in my country have become stars and celebrities, and those at the top are paid huge salaries. Just like movie stars, they live extravagant lifestyles with huge houses and cars.

Many people find their rewards unfair, especially when comparing these super salaries with those of top surgeons or research scientists, or even leading politicians who have the responsibility of governing the country. However, sports salaries are not determined by considering the contribution to society a person makes, or the level of responsibility he or she holds. Instead, they reflect the public popularity of sport in general and the level of public support that successful stars can generate. So the notion of ‘fairness’ is not the issue.

Those who feel that sports stars’ salaries are justified might argue that the number of professionals with real talent are very few, and the money is a recognition of the skills and dedication a person needs to be successful. Competition is constant and a player is tested every time they perform in their relatively short career. The pressure from the media is intense and there is little privacy out of the spotlight. So all of these factors may justify the huge earnings.

Personally, I think that the amount of money such sports stars make is more justified than the huge earnings of movie stars, but at the same time, it indicates that our society places more value on sport than on more essential professions and achievements.

Do you prefer high salary or a promising job?

job. First of all, I appreciate the honor and challenge it brings to me. At the same time, if I work hard, it will offer me a lot of opportunities including high salary, good position, etc.

When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.

It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. On the other hand, family is also an indispensable part of life, as many people will admit. Family is always regarded as a place where we can escape from troubles in life. In addition, we can obtain a sense of belonging to from family. Without it, anyone will feel lonely and desperate.

In my opinion, career and family are not in opposition to each other. Rather, they can enhance each other so that one’s life can become better and better. Therefore, it’s not a choice between right and wrong, but one between ideal and practical.

Nowadays more and more people choose to work freelance instead of work for somebody else. It is a shame to work freelance in the old days, people would said that the one who are self-employedis a lazy man, and this kind of job is not security, they fear of instability. However, the conception is changed, work freelance has been widely accepted by public,me included.

In the first place, one of the biggest advantages of work freelance is that you are the master of your time. Once you areself-employed, you are able to manage your time by your own wish. You do not have to get up very early in the morning, especially in a cold winter morning, and take a crowded bus in case you will not late for work, which links directly to your salary. For me, I would love to stay home in my pajamas rather than fight through traffic so I can sit in a cubicle all day.

In the second place, work freelance is awonderful gift for an introvert. As you can see, if you are working outside, you can not avoid to working with others. It might be hard to deal with different people in the office. There is one more thing that you can not avoid, which is your social duties, drinking and eating. You can’t say no to this, or you will said bye to your job. As we know, too much food or wine is not good for our body, but as long as the cline feels happy, no one will care too much of their body.

To sum up, each type of work style has its own advantages and disadvantages, it is your choice. I think working should bea happy thing, if it isn’t, your life will be a sadly hell.
